The 2025 revival of the Hobo Party marked a historic and heartwarming milestone for Sigma Delta Phi, as the sorority fully stepped into this beloved tradition for a joint celebration with the Upsilon Sigma Phi fraternity. In partnership with the Upsilon Sigma Phi Alumni Association, the Sigma Delta Phi Alumnae Association, led by President Mona ’68, brought the magic back with a Hobo Party aptly titled “Brods and Sisters for Life,” held last December 8, 2025 at the UP Bahay ng Alumni.

The excitement was palpable weeks before the big night—over 100 sisters signed up early, many of them attending a Hobo for the very first time. The evening was brought to life by the dynamic hosting of SDPAA Vice President Nikki ’97 and Brod Charvy ’89, who expertly steered the crowd through the much-loved Alaskahan—a spirited, good-natured exchange of songs and dances between brods and sisters that had everyone cheering (and teasing) in equal measure.

Adding to the charm were lively performances that showcased the creativity, talent, and unmistakable energy of the sisters. The brods and sisters were delightfully spoiled with an array of generous raffle prizes. Laughter flowed freely, friendships were rekindled, and new bonds were forged as brods and sisters celebrated fellowship the Hobo way.

More than just a party, the night became a bridge across generations—a shared memory, a joyful comeback, and truly a “one for the ages” for the sisters of Sigma Delta Phi.
