Outstanding Achiever in Social Research

At non-profit Social Weather Stations (SWS), Linda has proven herself a highly respected social scientist and leader with entrepreneurial and scientific prowess. She operationalized the conduct of scientific, highly-credible social surveys and opinion polls in the public interest on a long-term, self-sustained basis, and thus contributed significantly to democratization of public programs in the Philippines. Linda has been the direct link of SWS to survey data that allows Filipinos to be compared to other citizens worldwide. She has been the person behind the SWS reputation as Gallup World Poll’s provider of regular fieldwork and data encoding for the Philippines.
